A team meeting on contributing of members of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Trade into the project of Innovation center ‘Skolkovo’ was done on October 7.
During the meeting Vadim Kulikov, a leader of the Center of Innovations, announced the results of the ‘Start Up Challenge’ conference to the representatives of business and scientific communities. He reminded that the conference took place on September, 29, 2010 within the bounds of the Business Program of the III International Innovations Forum of St-Petersburg.
It has become an example of a new format of preparations and management of start-up projects presentation. Speaking on this issue Vadim Kulikov pointed out that a strong feature of the conference is a new structure of the event: the first part is dedicated to dynamic discussion of the innovations consumption streamline and the second one shows the projects on the mentioned streamlines.
“The most important factor while selecting projects was a high level of innovativeness, - he mentioned. – That is how crucial changes created by it can be. Working for the conference the start-uppers joined into teams to create one completely fulfilled brand together. They were helped by financial, marketing and design experts. Each project was tested by the participants of working sessions in incubation lab of the Center of Innovations.”
It was decided to include the ‘Start Up Challenge’ conference into the plan of scientific and innovative infrastructure of ‘Skolkovo”. A new chief of the team has become Alexander Abramov, the «ЕвразГрупп С.А.» chairman of the board of directors. He offered Vadim Kulikov’s candidacy on the position of his deputy and this offer was spported by the participants of the meeting. In the nearest future there is conducting of the ‘Start Up Challenge’ conference not only in Moscow and St-Petersburg but in more than 10 regional centers in Russia as well as abroad – in Kazakhstan, Norway, Switzerland and the USA.
