The Russian Venture Fair is the biggest international event in Russia, a place of market predictions for venture and direct investments. It brings together local and foreign professionals of venture capital annually. This year it has taken place in Rostov-on-Don on October 21/22.
The leader of the Center of Innovations Vadim Kulikov took part in a workshop ‘A Saga about Start-ups // advice for successful employers’. The theme of his report was an up-to-day format of preparing and presenting of start-up projects.
‘It’s necessary to convert innovative products with high added value into real projects, - Vadim Kulikov feels it should be like this. – Life shows that it quite possible to earn with one’s own intellectual labor’. But nevertheless many of new-coming businessmen tend to get everything from the very first venture capitalist not realizing that it’s not only the most hopeless way of sponsorship but also the most unprofitable one. The key to attracting financing for start-ups is a strong team of undertakers who are to prepare a formulation for backing, its producing and transfer to market operators both home and abroad.
The club format of the Venture Fair events allowed a lot of lead-ins for building of effective business communication between major participants. The highlight of such affairs is especially valuable in the present changing circumstances connected with the general economic environment and the certain occasions in the country which directly influence on future establishment of trust among the subjects of private-and-state partnership.
